Throughout her career, she has made a significant impact on healthcare transformation globally. Until August 2022, Rachel served as the CEO of the NHS Digital Academy for over five years. In her current role, she continues to drive innovation and shape the future of digital health worldwide.
Rachel has made significant academic contributions that earned her a Visiting Professorship at Imperial College, London. She has provided advisory services to the UK Secretary of State for Health and was a member of the UK government AI council, demonstrating her expertise in health technology and the integration of AI within healthcare systems. Additionally, she serves on the Board of Directors for the Digital Health Society, helping to shape digital health strategies and innovations. Rachel’s leadership continues to support the digital transformation of healthcare by fostering advancements in health systems worldwide.
