Integrated Information Service (IIS)

The Integrated Information Service is the main Data Analytics Service for the wider Health Service Executive.

IIS worked under the Sub-group of ‘Data and Analytics’, led by Maria McCann. Our role was to provide situational awareness to HSE decision makers which allowed them to coordinate the Health Response to this situation.

At the start of 2020, and with the Covid epidemic sweeping across Ireland, the Integrated Information Service, or IIS, rapidly stood up a multidisciplinary data driven team.

Scheduled Care Transformation is a collaborative engagement that has focused on setting out the scope of the shared waiting lists problem, developing the multiannual plan and prioritizing areas to tackle waiting lists.

The Community HealthCare (CHC) Datamart Dashboard provided by IIS gives a view of both National Service Plan (NSP) Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and Operational KPIs.
