Background
According to the World Health Organisation, pursuing a “framework for evaluating digital health interventions is vital to generate evidence required for decision-making on the appropriate approach to integrate effective strategies into broader national health systems”. The evaluation of digital health interventions over time is noted as an attempt to attribute a range of outcomes to it through systematic consideration of usability, efficacy/effectiveness, and affordability.
The HSE Action Plan for Health Research 2019-2029 includes supporting staff engaged in research, adding value through research, involving patients, and leveraging the power of collaboration within its key objectives towards embedding a research culture to support the development of the health service. The plan aims to promote evidence-based practice and innovation to allow research to become a critical enabler of health service delivery by attracting and retaining the best healthcare staff, improving the quality and process of care, increasing the levels of productivity and efficiency, and increasing patient engagement and satisfaction.
Purpose

We are actively seeking collaborative partners that would be interested in working on projects in telehealth.
