Caroline Hurley - Business Intelligence & Analytics Lead (Interim)
The Business Intelligence Unit maintains and enhances a central repository of HR and Payroll related data for the HSE and certain Voluntary Agencies via an Enterprise Data Warehouse and a Business Objects presentation layer. These systems are utilised for more effective reporting/analytics and data visualisation with the aim of providing Senior and Line Managers with relevant information for analysis and decision making. Training ,virtual and live, is also provided on the BEx query tool and the delivered reports and dashboards.
Other services provided include:
•Responses to ad-hoc FOI, PQs, information requests
•Provision of more detailed developments for business partners and external customers such as SPSPS reporting, the development and enhancement of Employee self service, pensions liability reporting for DPER etc.
•The unit also is responsible for Integrated Planning (forecasting tool) which will form the basis for BPC within the future IFMS national budgeting system.
