UiPATH Business Automation Platform

Fran Thompson HSE CIO spoke recently at the UiPath on Tour UKI conference in London. Fran traced the HSE’s recent automation journey and the establishment of a centralised automation Centre of Excellence against the backdrop of a global pandemic, a major criminal cyberattack and significant organisational restructuring.

Highlighting the measurable benefit that automation is delivering to both back-end corporate functions and frontline health services and outlined the positive impact this is now having on patients and service users. Fran joined over 20 speakers at the event and also described HSE’s plans regarding the adoption of AI and offered his perspectives on the application of AI with specific consideration to its use in a public healthcare context.

UiPath is a business automation platform and gathered for this years event were AI experts, practitioners, and business leaders in the UK and Ireland.
