Joyce Shaw's Leadership in eHealth Business Operations

Introduction 

Joyce Shaw has spent the last 30+ years working in the health services, and the last 15+ years working with the various Heads of IT in the Corporate Office. She is currently the Chief of Staff and Head of Business Operations at eHealth, the division responsible for the delivery of technology to support healthcare across the Health Service Executive. As the Chief of Staff and Head of Business Operations, Joyce's vision is to deliver innovation in leadership, people management and business solutions within eHealth. She oversees the HR, Finance, Mobile Telephony, Communications Training & Development and Executive Support sections, ensuring the smooth and efficient delivery of services to the eHealth.

Joyce is also a Values in Action Champion and a supporter of the HSE values of care, compassion, trust and learning. She is passionate about creating a more inclusive and diverse culture within eHealth and the health sector as a whole.

Joyce finds fulfilment in her job, especially in engaging with staff and helping eHealth achieve its goals. She believes in encouraging more women and girls to pursue careers in the technology industry.
