The 21st National Health Summit

The 21st National Health Summit will take place on 6th February 2025 in Croke Park, Dublin. Transforming how healthcare is planned, delivered, and experienced is central to modernising our healthcare system. How do we transform healthcare to create more efficient, patient-centered, and responsive healthcare that meets the needs of individuals and populations in a more equitable and sustainable way? That is the central question that will be addressed at the 2025 National Health Summit.

Damien McCallion, Chief Technology and Transformation Officer & Deputy CEO of the HSE, will participate in a fireside chat titled "The State of Digital: Where Do We Stand?" In this conversation with Dr. Chris Laing, they will explore how healthcare data can be leveraged to identify major risks for patients and transform these risks into preventative interventions.

Fran Thompson, Chief Information Officer of the HSE, will join a panel discussion titled "Can We Deliver a National Electronic Health Record by 2030?" In this session, he will offer insights on the key factors for successfully implementing and adopting an eHealth record for all citizens.
