Connecting with Irish Digital Start-ups and SMEs
To create an initial ‘touch point’ for digital companies who wish to partner with eHealth Ireland and help deliver the strategic programmes, eHealth Connect has been established. Further partnership and financial support will be offered to companies with potential eHealth solutions which will improve patient care or processes and are championed by HSE staff via the QIC Digital Programme. eHealth Connect will also provide advice, support and encouragement to start-ups and SME’s in the formation of partnerships with other companies or other divisions within HSE. Our goal is to increase the awareness of breath and diversity of indigenous Irish digital and connected health start-up and SME companies amongst the eHealth Ireland ecosystem and act as bridge for innovation and technology for HSE staff and we have developed the database of companies and technologies.
To facilitate this, connection meetings will occur monthly on a rotating basis in Dublin, Dundalk, Cork, Galway, Letterkenny, Limerick and Waterford. To book a meeting slot please email Dr Carole Glynn at firstname.lastname@example.org
Since our launch, we have met over 100 companies and details of these companies will shortly be released as a searchable database for Healthcare staff and members of the public.
