Orthodontic Service to have a new beginning in Tallaght.

Work is now finished on the new Orthodontics department in the Simms Building Tallaght, in south county Dublin.  Orthodontics, which moved from the St James Hospital campus where it was located for the last 20 years and the team are looking forward to a new challenge and welcome the opportunity to work in this new environment at the foot of the Dublin mountains.

The equipment installation phase of the project finished last month and the department contains 11 of the most technologically up to date surgeries in the country as well as a 5 chair teaching room to give dental graduates the best possible facilities and conditions to train under.

This service is also kitted out with the latest in 3D X-Ray imaging system too, the Planmeca Pro Max, which offers world class imaging and modelling facilities to the Orthodontic clinicians working there.  This in conjunction with the newly upgraded Orthotrac clinical information system is enabling the delivery of truly enhanced patient care.
