Cloud in Health Advisory Council Launches Website
The Cloud in Health Advisory Council have launched their new website at the HIMSS event in Sitges, Barcelona. To have a look at it, and find out more about them in detail see here.
This advisory council are aiming to promote and improve healthcare throughout Europe. They want to help countries adopt policies and innovations within the healthcare system, which will help empower both patients and citizens, especially in regards to an online cloud. It’s clear that they will help promote the eHealth change which is beneficial for everyone involved.
The council currently meet twice per year, with members from a wide range of backgrounds including hospitals, university medical centres, industry solution providers, policy advocates and even patient groups. This wide range of people from different backgrounds have varied perspectives which helps when advocating for a digital cloud. They have focused in recent meetings on addressing an emerging set of issues relating to handling patient data, enabling research uses of health data as well as AI. Reports on this can be found on their website.
This website will ensure everyone can stay up to date with what they're doing, and we are looking forward to seeing the impact the council will bring.
